Business and Career One-Stop Service Centers

Goodwill Industries/Shoreline operates the county’s Business and Career One Stop Centers (BCOSC).
The One-Stops provide a comprehensive array of services to match employers with job seekers and
assist the WIB with economic development and employer retention services.

Business and Career One-Stops (BCOSC's) are designed to provide a full range of assistance to
job seekers and employers under one roof. BCOSC’s were established under the Workforce Investment Act.
The centers offer training referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment-related
programs. Available at the BCOSC will be Goodwill personnel, CA State Employment
Development Department staff, Cuesta College instructors and private agencies to assist employers
and job seekers.

Walk In Services Available

Access to computers, internet, fax, printer and copy machines.
Access sample resumes, master applications, interview questions, and job search techniques.
Access job listing, labor market information, training program providers and more.
Access online typing tutorials, online computer training and computer skills certification.
Access workshops, referrals to partner programs, hiring events and more.

Additional employment related programs and services are available to those who are eligible.
