Placement Services
Shoreline Workforce Development Services offers Job Placement services
for people disabled by industrial injuries and other circumstances.
Participants are referred by the Department
of Rehabilitation, Veterans
Affairs and private counselors. The program goal is to assist
the person enter or re-enter the work force at the earliest opportunity.
Our placement staff has a total of 35 years experience in Job Development
and Placement in the Central California area. They have a thorough
knowledge of the local labor market and are adept in the development
of appropriate plans for identifying and attaining a vocational
goal. To sustain our successful job placement rate, we provide career
exploration and counseling, labor market research, resume preparation,
interviewing skills, job development and employee contacts. We also
provide on-going job club activities which prepare our Shoreline
students to become active, poised and confident job seekers.
