Business and Career One-Stop Service Centers
Goodwill Industries/Shoreline operates the county’s Business
and Career One Stop Centers (BCOSC). The One-Stops provide a comprehensive
array of services to match employers with job seekers and assist
the WIB with economic development and employer retention services.

Business and Career One-Stops (BCOSC's) are designed to provide
a full range of assistance to job seekers and employers under one
roof. BCOSC’s were established under the Workforce Investment
Act. The centers offer training referrals, career counseling, job
listings, and similar employment-related programs. Available at
the BCOSC will be Goodwill personnel, CA State Employment Development
Department staff, Cuesta College instructors and private agencies
to assist employers and job seekers. Goodwill will employ nine people
full-time to staff the center and satellite offices.
Three separate locations will be available to the job seeker. The
comprehensive service center will be at 880 Industrial Way in San
Luis Obispo. Renovations are underway to improve accessibility and
provide space for the other agencies that will co-locate there.
Computers, phone and general communication infrastructure will be
expanded.
Services are still available at the Creekside BCOSC at 4111 Broad
Street, Suite A, San Luis Obispo, while the new location renovations
