How to Enroll in the School of Cosmetology
Prospective students who wish to enroll in Shoreline School of
Cosmetology must follow the following process:
1). Attend an informational forum held the 2nd Monday of each month
at 1:00 sharp. At the forum you will learn about the program, its
cost, waiting times and curriculum. You will be asked to fill out
a contact information form that will place you on the waiting list.
2). The waiting list is based on a first come first served basis
unless the candidate is a considered mission related (referred by
a third party such as Calworks or DR).
3). Once a new class is being formed, prospective students will
be contacted and an in person interview will be made with the program
manager or staff.
4). Prospective students will have their start dates confirmed in
writing and an orientation will be scheduled to process paperwork
and collect payment.
Funding Sources: Cosmetology Students
All
Santa Cruz County Residents enrolling in the 1600 clock hours Cosmetology
Program are eligible for ROP
funding. The ROP funds a majority of your tuition cost. Students
are responsible for the cost of the Kit, books, supplies and some
tuition. All cost will be explained to you at the forum and confirmed
in writing prior to your start.The following resources may also

Esthetician Students
Students are responsible for all cost of the program including
